Before Reading On To Hear What Singorama Is Going To Do For YOU, Find Out What Other People Think Of Singorama!…

Success Story: John Elsfelder

John is 48 Years Old And Is Making Dramatic Improvements In His Voice. Listen to his song below right…

Yes, hello. My name is John Elsfelder. I have been very successful with your course. I am very pleased. I actually was able to improve my voice and go into a studio and record a song that I wrote and I am trying to make it in the business, even at my age. I’m 48 years old, but I am going to do it. And I had a great time in the studio and I can even send you my song, so you can hear how good it sounds.

I think the course is awesome. I love the technique about warm-ups, I really liked that. It really has helped me. Infact I did that before I actually went into the studio. Anyway, I have a finished song, and I’m going to do 3 Christmas songs, hand them out to my family for Christmas on December 9th, and on December 16th I am going into the studio to record 2 more songs that I have written.

I have written 9 songs so far. I just want to make it into the business, I’m trying to get on the radio. Everyone that has listened to my song loves it, and if I could get radio airplay it would be a hit. I’m just trying to make it and your course has really helped me a lot. I really, really am glad that I brought your course.

I did an internet search of online singing courses and found Singorama to be the best thing for me. It has really helped save my voice, and especially helped me sing through the “breaks” in my voice without damaging anything!”

My name is Jessica. I’ve been a singer for years and years, since I was very little. I’ve sung in various choirs, ensembles, professional theatres, won awards in competitions and so on.

I’ve been classically trained, but I have sung many different kinds of music. A few months ago I was working for a professional theatre in North Carolina and had seven performances a week with very little to no warm up time, and no understudies!

Needless to say, this was taking a toll on my voice. I am a first soprano and can usually hit an “F” over high “C” but I was lucky if I could hit a “D”—and it was really starting to hurt. I needed help. I needed to go back to the basics and re-learn, but I didn’t have much money, the nearest city was half an hour away, and I travel quite a lot so a voice teacher was out of the question.

I did an internet search of online singing courses and found Singorama to be the best thing for me. It has really helped save my voice, and especially helped me sing through the “breaks” in my voice without damaging anything! Currently, I am part of an international choir in Seoul, and am able to hit the high notes, no problem! I would very much like to say thank you to everyone on the Singorama team!

If you’d like to take your singing voice from ordinary to

extraordinary, make a signature song all your own, increase your vocal range, hit every note with professional precision and learn every nitty gritty detail about auditions, singing in a band, harmonizing and more, then this might be the most important letter you’ll ever read.
Here’s why:

You won’t believe how much you don’t know about your singing voice and how easy it is to improve it.

No matter what level you are at (beginner, intermediate or advanced) this information applies to you. Even if you have had difficulties in singing before (increasing vocal range, singing in harmony, hitting the right notes on time, and so forth), you are in for a pleasant surprise!

Singorama is one of the most highly respected learn-to-sing software packages on the internet because it offers you more features and functions than other learn-to-sing packages do, and it does it better!

We’ve spent a lot of time designing a solution to learning to sing that’s easy to use and produces results fast…

But it seems everywhere we’ve looked, all we’ve found is company after company trying to pass off the same old, run-of-the-mill learn-to-sing courses as a “revolutionary” new program.

And the shocking part is, they’re all selling the same damn thing:

  • Their systems can teach you basic warm up exercises, they can make you very comfortable with singing in the range you already have, and perhaps even teach you how to sing solos.

… But give me a break! Are these the features that have the potential to allow you to learn how to sing like a professional?

The great news for you is that we’ve created our comprehensive Singorama 2.0 Interactive Audio course with YOU in mind so that you’ll get immensely satisfying results fast!

Here’s a run down of the core set of 28 audio lessons (yes, there is a lot more in this course beyond these lessons also):

  • Audio Lesson 1: Introduction and how to understand your own voice
  • This first section will help you Get Started as a Singer. You’ll come to understand your own voice, where you are at, what you are capable of, and you’ll find out what exercises you need to do to warm your voice up, before we get into the more nitty-gritty vocal technique.

  • Audio Lesson 2: Warm ups and strengthening the voice

  • In this, the second lesson, we will focus on warming up and teach you some great vocal strengthening exercises. We hope that you are excited to get into the great content we have for you. This lesson is going to be so beneficial to you as a singer. The warm-ups and strengthening exercises we have for you in this lesson can be learned and when you have mastered them they will keep your voice strong and ready to sing. The ability to warm up and the strengthening your voice are paramount. You will dramatically improve most areas of your voice if you take the time to practice these techniques.

  • Audio Lesson 3: Breathing and Posture

  • Your breathing will affect your vocal tone as well as your pitch. That’s why today we are focussing on Breathing and Posture. In Lesson 2 you will have learned some incredibly easy and effective warm ups that will help to strengthen your voice and give it more flexibility This 3rd lesson is about breathing technique and correct posture for singers. In the last couple lessons we talked a little about breathing and just how important it is to have the correct support and control. Your breathing affects you as a singer so much because the reason you can even produce your sound in the first place is through the flow of air!So the goals for this lesson are to:• Understand the importance of correct breathing technique and posture,
    • Learn how to breathe from your entire body,
    • Learn the effects of using proper breathing techniques, and
    • Learn how to “ground” yourself to produce a fuller sound.

  • Audio Lesson 4: Tone

  • Now we’re moving on to the nitty-gritty of vocal technique. In this next section of lessons, you’re going to learn everything you need to know about tone, pitch, and your chest and head voices. It’s all the stuff that seems easy to brush over, but these lessons will actually give you the best basis for producing a professional sounding voice. And the basis is really what’s most important.

  • Audio Lesson 5: Pitch, Staying in Tune

  • The first goal for this lesson is to understand the difference between pitch and tone, terms which are often confused with each other, and how to avoid singing sharp or flat. We will teach you how to use your newly acquired support and control techniques to achieve this. Then we’ll tell you about perfect pitch, which is a rare gift, and “relative pitch,” which is something every singer can aspire to and achieve. So the overall goal for this lesson is to develop your own “mental ear.” Then you can understand relative pitch and hear when a sound, most importantly your own singing voice, is not reaching notes or singing over the pitch it should be.

  • Audio Lesson 6: Chest voice and head voice

  • This next lesson is about your two different voices: your chest voice and your head voice. The overall goal for this lesson is to understand the difference between these two so-called “voices” you have. But more importantly you want to learn how to bridge and blend your two voices so you have a connected voice throughout your entire vocal range.

  • Audio Lesson 7: Bad Habits to AVOID

  • There are probably bad habits that you can’t help but make and will be destructive to your voice. Here is where you discover all the most common bad habits that many singers have, so that you become aware and can avoid them in the future when you are singing. The goals for this lesson are to recognize bad habits, learn what to do to avoid them and finally to establish good overall practice habits for your singing.

  • Audio Lesson 8: Extending your vocal range: Part 1

  • Although other lessons in the Singorama course will certainly help improve your vocal range, this lesson, along with Lesson 22, are specifically focused on how your vocal range actually works, and includes several powerful exercises that you can practice along with that will increase your vocal range … most likely by at least an octave!

  • Audio Lesson 9: Time signatures, key signatures and rhythm

  • This is the first lesson in the next section of the course, which is about the technical side of music. The goals for this lesson are really important and will be very worthwhile to you if you wish to train further as a singer. After this lesson you should:• Understand the different technical elements of a piece of music and be able to
    • Learn how to visually recognize different time signatures
    • Learn how to hear the difference between different time signatures
    • Learn how to identify the key signature of the music
    • Learn the different types of musical notes and
    • Understand how to learn the rhythm of a piece of music

  • Audio Lesson 10: Major and minor keys; Solfege

  • By this lesson, we’ll be well into learning about the technical side of music and music theory. This lesson will tell you all about major and minor keys and scales, as well as a system called Solfege. Much of this lesson will be building on things that we talked about in the previous lesson on time signatures, key signatures and rhythm. The goals for this lesson are to understand the difference between major and minor keys and scales and to be able to hear the differences as well. Also, an important goal is to learn and understand the Solfege system and how it can help you in your singing training now and in the future.

  • Audio Lesson 11: Intervals and Solfege

  • In this lesson we focus on the Solfege system and how to ingrain it into your memory. As you grasp hold of Solfege and put it into practice, you will find that reading music, picking up harmonies and learning songs will become a breeze. We have taken the difficulty out of all that dry music theory and come up with some fun and easy ways to get the competitive edge on all those other singers out there.
  • The goal for this lesson is to understand the importance of learning Solfege when trying to “memorize” intervals and learn the tricks for remembering different intervals. We will be teaching you the tricks to learn a song without having to hear it first. This will help you greatly and improve your musical ear as well as help you with harmonising and singing the correct notes in the right keys.

  • Audio Lesson 12: Different styles of singing

  • This lesson provides an overview of some of the different ways you can use your voice to produce different sounds. We will be exploring how to manipulate and change your voice to produce exciting and different effects. If you flick through a whole lot of different radio stations like country or rock, opera, jazz musical theatre or pop you will find an amazing variety of different sounding songs and voices. The art of manipulating your voice and accompanying differently arranged backing instruments is something that you can learn. When you learn to how to use your voice more fully, you will increase your versatility as a singer and make yourself more employable to boot! The ability to sing a variety of different styles can be especially useful when auditioning for musical theatre. Often performers will need to sing a range of styles within a show.
    • Audio Lesson 13: How to Become Sensational At Singing Harmony – Everyone will want to sing with YOU!
    • Very few singing courses deal with harmony, as it is not as easy as it sounds. Luckily, we break it all down and make it easy for you to understand, AND we provide numerous tracks for you to listen to and practice with. With Singorama you’ll discover how to make your harmony sound like a true professional. we’ll also familiarize you with different chord progressions and cadences, so that hearing melodies and their harmonies within the chords will eventually become like second nature. You’ll also learn the important things to avoid when singing harmony, in order to ensure that their is no clashing between parts and so that you can sing your harmony to the composer’s desired effect! There are many reasons why you may wish to learn harmony, whether you are singing as part of a choir in church, or perhaps even part of a barbershop quartet. Whatever your reason, Singorama’s harmony section contains a comprehensive practical guide to the topic.
  •
  • Audio Lesson 14: How to Sing Different Genres of Music

  • We will look at how vocals are used in different genres and some of their defining characteristics. We will also touch on the difference between different styles of singing and different genres of music.
Although other lessons in the Singorama course will certainly help improve your vocal range, this lesson, along with Lesson 22, are specifically focused on how your vocal range actually works, and includes several powerful exercises that you can practice along with that will increase your vocal range … most likely by at least an octave!

  • Audio Lesson 15: Understanding the meaning of a song – Part 1 lyrics and overall tone

  • These next few lessons will cover everything you need to know when it comes to learning a song from scratch right through to adopting your own style of performance and of course we will give you some great tips on how to make a song your own. So the goals for this lesson are:• Understand the significance of learning the meaning of a song — you want to make a connection with the audience
    • Learn how to read into the meaning of the lyrics themselves and understand the message
    • Learn how to recognize the overall tone of the piece

The most amazing musical performances (whether live or on a recording) are those where the performer makes a connection with the audience, through the words and music, and conveys a message through the song.

  • Audio Lesson 16: Understanding the meaning of a song (Part 2): emotions conveyed through music and how to put your personality into a song

  • In Lesson 15 we began looking at understanding a songs meaning. We focused on the lyrics and the overall tone of a song. By this lesson you will have already interpreted three poems and decided on the writer’s overall feeling and message, which will enable you to can move onto the second part of understanding the meaning of a song. This lesson is about conveying emotions through music and how to put your personality into the song. Now that you know the overall feel of the music and have the lyrics, its time for you to know how to express them to the audienceThe goals for this lesson are to:• Understand the role of the singer — that is to convey a message to the audience,
    • Learn how to recognize the different emotions expressed in a song through both the music and the lyrics,
    • Learn how to understand the flow and movement of the song, and
    • Learn how to express the emotions in your own performance of the song.

  • Audio Lesson 17: Making a song your own

  • In this lesson we will show you how to change a song, add to a song, and use stylistic aspects to turn the song into something that you can be remembered for.The goals for this lesson are:
    • Use what you will learn in this lesson so you can personalize a song,
    • Understand the importance of having your own interpretation of a song, and
    • Learn how to let your personality come through when you are singing.

Think of American Idol: the judges always tell the contestants about how they want to “see their personalities come through when they are singing.” They don’t want them to just stand and recite a great song. They want the WOW factor. They want to see something that elicits emotion and makes people remember their performance

For this lesson we really want you to get excited about what you as a performer can do with a song. Coming up, you are going to learn the technical aspects of how to learn a song. While the technical aspects are essential, they certainly aren’t as much fun as putting your stamp on a piece of music. So this is the precursor to the critical technical foundation.

  • Audio Lesson 18: Learning a full song – Part 1

  • Singing a song isn’t as easy as following the notes. In addition to all the vocal training a singer must do to get his or her voice to produce the best possible sounds, a singer must study a piece of music like an actor would study a script! Not only must you figure out the key that the music is written in, you must figure out its tempo, dynamics, and style. You must figure out the meaning of the lyrics, where to emphasize certain words or sounds, and where to take a breath. You may wonder … why bother with all this, when I can just listen to a recording of the song and copy it? That’s perfectly fine — if you don’t what to become a real singer. Could you imagine someone playing Hamlet by copying other actors’ performances, rather than reading and understanding the play? You need to understand what makes a song tick, where its heart lies, and where it offers un-mined opportunities for your unique vocal qualities to shine. By breaking down a song yourself, you’ll become the expert — rather than passing the buck on to another singer. As a result, your vocal interpretation will be creative, unique, and entirely your own.In this vital lesson we will be teaching you the first four steps for learning a song. These first four steps cover the technical elements of a song. These is important to grasp first before you add your style and make the song your own When you have mastered these steps you will be able to put everything you have learned from Lesson 17 into practice. The goals for this lesson are to:
    • Understand the different elements of a song,
    • Learn the first things to look for when you see a song for the first time, and
    • Learn the first four steps for learning a song: the technical side

  • Audio Lesson 19: Learning a full song – Part 2

  • This lesson will give you the final four steps to learning a song. In it, we are going to focus on stylistic features. Also, we will introduce you to three songs we have written for you to learn. Now, we understand that not everyone that wants to know how to sing has the same taste in music. As a result, we have written a funky pop song, a classic old rock song and a slow yet powerful ballad. The goals for this lesson are to:
    • Understand the parts of a song which are beyond the technical elements,
    • Learn how the stylistic elements are what makes the performance of a song unique, and
    • Learn the final four steps for learning a song: the stylistic side

  • Audio Lesson 20: Solutions to common problems

  • Now that you have all these new skills to perfect, we want you to be aware of how to fix them if they go a little bit wrong. This lesson is focused on solutions to common problems. Have you heard the saying, “A little bit of knowledge can be a dangerous thing?” Well, it very much applies to singing. We wouldn’t want you to know how to use all this new knowledge without showing you how to get your voice back on track if problems arise that you haven’t yet encountered. The goals for this lesson are:
    • Learn how to get around common roadblocks,
    • Understand the importance of setting goals and learning the basics before trying to do too much too soon, and
    • Understand the need to keep up your overall confidence in your abilities as a singer (while still being objective!).
    •

    • Audio Lesson 21: Your Future as a Singer

  • In this lesson we focus on the possibilities for your future as a singer. There really are endless possibilities for you to be in the public spotlight and performing. You just have to decide how far you want to take your singing. In this lesson we are going to look at some options for you as a singer. Whether you want to perform in a choir, branch out into musical theatre or chase a professional recording contract, there are steps you need to take to make those goals a reality

  • Audio Lesson 22: Extending your vocal range: Part 2

  • In this lesson we re-focus on one of the aspects of singing, how to extend your vocal range. With Part 2 we will be looking at what you have done how much progress you have made and if there are any problems so far. This lesson is going to be slightly different to the rest. We want you to be able to do a self assessment on your technique and understand if you are singing the extension exercises correctly. You’ll get to practice some more powerful exercises and discover how to extend your vocal range to its fullest potential.

  • Audio Lesson 23: Performance tips

  • By this lesson you should be putting all the vocal range extension exercises to good use. You’ll need to keep practicing these and record the progress you are making. In this lesson we will be focusing on performing: how to do it right and what to do if it all starts going wrong. We will look at saving a bungled audition, what to do if you can’t hear yourself on stage, and what to do if you forget the words to your song.By the end of this lesson you should feel confident that you can perform in any situation you may be called to. You should also be prepared with some ways to counter any mistakes you might make when on stage

  • Audio Lesson 24: Auditions and how to Ace them!

  • Every professional singer must go through auditions at some stage in their life. Just like in a job interview, interviews provide potential employers proof of you singing skills as well as an indication of you suitability for what they have in mind.In this lesson you’re going to discover everything you need to know to have the best audition to secure that part you have always wanted. In the commercial arena, singing is not just about vocal talent. It is about appearances as well -

and first impressions matter most!

That’s why it’s so important that Singorama covers in detail how to prepare for auditions, how to stay calm and focused, as well as how to choose a song and what to do after an audition!

  • Audio Lesson 25: Writing Your First Song

  • By this lesson you should be feeling confident about auditioning and feel ready to stride into a room full of judges and give them a great and memorable performance. In this lesson we will be looking at writing your first song. This can be great fun as you get a chance to express your ideas and tell your own stories. It can also be quite daunting as you may have no idea where to start or what to do. There is no point in having these creative ideas if you can’t produce something from themIn this lesson we will look at how to start writing songs, and we’ll concentrate on two ways most people get their inspiration.
  •

  • Audio Lesson 26: How to sing with a band

  • Singing with a group of talented and like-minded people is one of the best experiences you can have as a singer. Getting out on a stage and performing original or cover songs to an amped audience brings a tremendous amount of satisfaction. When you are performing to an audience, you get to experience their instant feedback. And you know straight away whether you are connected to them and doing a good job with your performance.Once you start singing with a band, you’ll find that you need to know a lot more than just how to sing. You need to know how to communicate with your band members, how to adjust your vocals to the accompaniment, and how to rehearse effectively. Additionally, if you’re the backup singer, you’ll need to know how to harmonize. With Singorama’s tips for a band-singing success, you’ll discover secrets about how to find a band, look at what sort of band will suit you as a singer and make sure you are aware of some of the challenges a band brings with it. Some of these challenges include managing different schedules and different personalities within the band and the different dynamics when it comes to performing with others.
  •

  • Audio Lesson 27: Performance Anxiety

  • Now, if you have auditioned or performed on stage or maybe just in a karaoke bar, you may be familiar with some of these symptoms……shortness of breath, churning stomach, shaky hands, weakness of the knees, a quickened heartbeat…Performance anxiety affects different singers in different ways. It can range from simply having a few nerves or feeling a bit jittery before going on stage, right through to full blown panic attacks that leave the singer unable to even get on the stage in the first place. So in this lesson we will look at some of the signs and triggers for performance anxiety and help you overcome any performance anxiety that YOU might experience through listening to a unique relaxation track that has been specifically designed for singers.

Learn to Sing with Carry-a-Tune

Posted by Mark No comments
If you want to learn to sing then Carry-a-Tune is the fun way for everyone to sing better! As your pitch improves, your confidence will build. As your confidence builds, your singing will be better and you will have more fun!Singing Coach’s animated characters will make learning to use the software and learning to sing easy and fun.

Pitch Tracking Line:

Singing Coach’s Pitch Tracking Line displays what note you are singing and the note you are supposed to be singing on a musical graph. This representation helps train your ear to know the exact pitch you are trying to sing.

Singing Lessons:

Singing Coach’s Singing Lessons are an introduction to both Carry-a-Tune and to some basic singing concepts. You will first learn about the basic Carry-a-Tune controls, then about warm-ups for preparing your voice to sing, and techniques for correct singing.

The remaining lessons start with simple exercises and progress to complete songs. You will learn to sing on pitch and see your scores as you practice each exercise.

Determine Vocal Range:

Carry-a-Tune’s Custom Vocal Range displays songs and exercises based on your voice or “vocal range.” Your vocal range is the range of notes, from lowest to highest, that you can sing comfortably. In order to display songs and exercises in the best key for you, Carry-a-Tune needs to know what your vocal range is.

You will sing up to a high note, then down to a low note. These notes define your vocal range, and you can see how your vocal range compares to the standard vocal ranges such as Tenor and Alto. Carry-a-Tune will automatically put songs and exercises into your personal vocal range so you can sing comfortably without straining your voice.

Compose Mode:

Carry-a-Tune’s Compose Mode allows you to compose your own songs by pointing and clicking to enter the melody and lyrics. You can also use the piano keyboard at the bottom of the screen if you prefer to enter pitches that way. If you have the sheet music for one of your favorite songs, you can easily enter the song into Carry-a-Tune.

Compose is simple enough to allow you to easily create short songs, and has the power to let you create quite complex songs and exercises.

Sheet Music View:

Carry-a-Tune’s Sheet Music View is a unique graphical display providing a simple and effective method of showing you how you are singing on pitch. Many people are more familiar with sheet music, and Carry-a-Tune allows you to sing songs using Sheet Music View. You will see the familiar staff, time signature, and musical notations. Carry-a-Tune’s Pitch Tracking Line effectively shows you whether you are hitting the notes on pitch. You can even use Sheet Music view to sing the songs you have composed.

Let me show what one person had to say about this software:

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Singing Software:

This product deserves five stars. It’s by far the best singing program available. I have several mainly using real people and tbh I find them a little precious whereas this one adds a lot of humour which admittedly can be a get a little twee especially if you have to run the same lesson several times but it’s fun nevertheless.

Learn to Sing

Posted by Mark No comments

Oh, for those of us who have a special song-one so special that every time we hear it play, we yell “that’s my song”.  In your opinion it’s just got to be the best song in the world, right?  A song that sends chills down your spine when you hear it because it’s so special, or brings to mind a certain event that helped make it your special song.

Whatever the inspiration, you just can never hear it played enough.  What if you learned to sing it so you could enjoy it whenever you wished?  Has singing been something you’ve thought about learning to do but just never made the commitment?  Don’t be afraid and start having second thoughts that you’re not good enough.  Give it a try!

Inspiration can mean the beginning of working towards your dream.  But it has to be your dream, no one else’s or you’ll lose focus.  And most importantly, don’t let negative or doubtful statements from others discourage you.  If you truly have a zeal for singing, pursue it.

After realizing your passion, the next step towards learning to sing is taking lessons.  Without a doubt, the greatest way to learning how to sing properly is to employ a singing coach. Almost every area has a singing coach that will be able to help you learn the very basics such as, breathing, and a good vocal method. This is really helpful in becoming a great singer.

A really good singing coach will train you at your own pace, avoiding possible strain to your voice.  A good coach knows how important it is to take care of your vocal chords. And while having a singing coach is a great way to be trained, it’s important to realize when taking this next step, it can be expensive.  The price range is normally around 50- 200 dollars an hour.

Another possible training option would be learning to sing online. The downloadable software that’s available is actually quite good.  With peoples love for the internet and computers, the software makes a good choice, and the best part is you’re at home. By learning to sing on the computer, it will be more affordable, and you can start learning to sing at any point because you can download the software at your convenience. However, if you decide to go with the software training route, be sure it offers practice on breathing techniques.  These important techniques will help you sing with your strongest smoothest voice possible.

There are literally hundreds of training products available; all you have to do is find one that fits your requirements and it will help you to become an outstanding singer. With the training you’ll receive along with a commitment to practice regularly, you’ll soon be relaxed and absolutely love to sing.  The gift of music definitely makes life a whole lot richer. If you have always had a passion for singing, go for it and learn today.
